What do clients see when they login?

This guide will show you what clients see when they use client login:

  1. Login.
  2. Upcoming appointments.
  3. Appointment history.
  4. Booking an appointment.
  5. Viewing and Updating Client Details.
  6. Adding Client Payment Details.
  7. Client Consultation Forms.

Login

When clients click your Online Booking button they will be given the option to Login to more easily manage their appointments. If they don't click on the banner they will progress through Online Booking as normal. Clicking on the banner will take your clients to this screen where they can login using a code sent to their SMS number.


Upcoming Appointments

Clients can see all their Upcoming Appointments as soon as they login, meaning they won't need to wait for reminder messages to get details of their appointments. 

If you have enabled client amendments and cancellations they will also be able to make these changes directly from client login, rather than through the emailed link they previously needed to use. Giving clients greater visibility and control over their appointments is a great way to make sure that they are booked in to an appropriate time and reduce your no shows. Client Login will respect all your existing restrictions about changes and cancellations in line with your cancelation policy.

Here you see the process for changing or cancelling an appointment, as well as the error that presents if a client tries to change an appointment too close to the booking. 


Appointment history

The Client Login also allows your clients to access their Appointment History. This makes it really easy for clients to look back at previous visits to rebook the services and staff that they loved and to make things even easier, we've added a simple 'Book again' button which preselects their preferred service, staff member and location . All the client needs to do is select the date and time that works for them.

Please note that services with multiple services cannot currently be rebooked using the Book Again button, for these bookings the client will need to make a new booking


Booking an Appointment

It's much easier for your clients to book a new appointment with Client Login as well! Because we already have their personal information, and we know they they've already agreed to your policies, all they need to do is select the appointment they want (or click rebook on an old appointment) choose the date and time, and then click book! It's so quick and easy, your clients will love it.

If your clients need to book for someone else, they can do this by clicking Booking for someone else? They will be able to enter the details for the person who they are booking for while being kept logged in. Please note that appointments made for someone else will not show up in their appointment listing.


Viewing and Updating Client Details

Clients can view and update personal details to help you keep your records up to date. To access this section they simply click on their name and click my details.

Please note: because Mobile Number is used to log your client in, they can't update this via Client Login. They will need to update this with you in salon.


Adding Client Payment Details

Clients can add and view their saved payment cards on their Timely client file! This makes for a smoother checkout for deposits or online payments. They cannot edit a cards details, to update their card details they would need to add a new card and remove the old one. 


Client Consultation Forms

Clients can also view and complete their Consultation forms that you have sent them to complete! This is great for gathering information prior to their appointment or checking their health following COVID-19. They can see new ones to complete and save them and come back to them later under drafts.
