If you need to update a staff members working hours, you can do so effortlessly with the Timely web app right from your calendar. In this guide, you will learn how to update a team member's working hours from your calendar.
Timely note: staff will need to have access to their own roster to be able to update their hours in the calendar. See our help guide What areas of my Timely account can I set permissions for? for more information.
How to roster a staff member as working or not working

Head to the calendar tab, and view the relevant staff member's calendar for the date required.
2 Go to the desired day, and click the clock icon.

To roster the staff member on or off click the slider next to working today.

Then to adjust the current start time, use the slider again. Once you have done that, click on the end time to update.

When you are ready, click save to apply your changes.
Timely note: the change in hours will automatically update in the roster. As this differs from the staff member's normal working hours, this will be shown as a modified date.
