If you have a Wordpress.com site, here is how to add booking buttons, links and widgets so that your customers can book online. For self-hosted Wordpress.org sites, install the Timely plugin instead.

Add a booking link and image
- Open your Wordpress Dashboard and go to Pages.
- Select the page you want to add the booking button to by clicking Edit, or on the page link.
- Click on the page content where you would like to put the button and then click the Add Media button at the top left underneath the page title.
- Select the image from your uploaded media or from a URL.
- Uploaded media: In the Attachment display settings in the Link to field select Custom URL.
- From a URL: Under Link to click the Custom URL button. - Head to Setup > Booking buttons and choose the Book now link option.
- Copy the link that is generate.
- Click Insert into page.
- Click Update to save the page or Preview to see it in action.
Add a booking button/widget
This will open the booking process on, or over the top, of your website. This is the most seamless solution, but requires some familiarity with html.
When adding custom code to your website page, make sure not to switch between Visual and Text mode once the code has been added. This must remain in Text mode:If you switch back to Visual mode before the changes have been applied, then the code will not work.
- Open your Wordpress Dashboard, click on Pages.
- Select the page you want to add the booking button to by clicking Edit, or on the page link.
- On the right side of the editing pane, select Text instead of Visual which will show you the underlying HTML of the page.
- In Timely, head to Setup > Booking buttons and choose the Book now button option.
- Choose the Own button image option and paste a link to your image in the Image url field.
- Copy the code that is provided.
- Paste it into the Wordpress panel where you want it to appear.
- Click Update to save the page or Preview to see it in action.
To add a Buy Gift Voucher button to your website you can follow the same process above, you can find the code/URL for these buttons under Setup > Booking buttons > Purchase Gift Voucher.
