From 1st November 2021 we will be removing the ability for Timely customers to use a custom domain for their free mini-website. This means you will need to make one of the changes below if you are currently using a custom URL for your mini website
In this guide we will cover what to do if:
Continue using your custom domain
Option 1
You can still continue to redirect your custom domain to your Timely booking site. However you will need to do this on your end and you will require your own developer to insert a snippet of code such as this.
If you are not tech-savvy we recommend reaching out to your domain provider to help you with this
Option 2
Alternatively you can create your own custom website and use your domain to direct to that instead. There are a lot of low cost or even free website hosting services that can help you create a custom site. Timely’s online booking can be added to any website.
Using booking widgets and buttons
You can add Timely directly into your website
You no longer wish to use your custom domain
You can change your custom domain by simply sharing your Timely domain with clients so they’re using it before 1st November 2021.

You can find your Timely domain by going to setup:
- Then head to Mini Website:
- Then you will find your Timely Domain here:
Why did we remove this feature?
During a recent security review custom domains were identified as an area of high risk that could leave Timely open to a virtual attack. Security of your data within Timely is of utmost concern to us, so our security team made the decision to remove this feature in order to keep Timely, and your business as secure as we can.
