With Timely, gift vouchers can be bought online, sent by email, or printed out and given in person. You have control over the gift voucher process, from creation to redemption. So you can decide if they can be purchased online, voided, or if they expire. You can also determine gift voucher terms and conditions, allowing you to customise what information is included on the printed voucher.

How clients purchase gift vouchers online
Step-by-step process

Head to setup from the main menu in your Timely account dashboard, and choose gift vouchers from the drop down list.

From here, you will see two links available to copy, labeled all online vouchers and custom amount vouchers. You can copy this link, and embed it on your mini website or use it within your marketing campaigns. When the individual clicks the link, they will be taken to a page where they can purchase a gift voucher.

They can then choose from a set voucher amount or choose a custom amount. They also have the option to send the voucher to themselves, or send it directly to the person they're buying the voucher for.

If the voucher is for someone else, they can enter the recipient's name, a personal message and who the gift is from.

Lastly, they will be prompted to enter their own details and will need to click go to payment to proceed, once they have entered their card details, the next step is to click pay which which will process the sale.

The buyer will be directed to a confirmation page. Here, they can print the invoice and their gift voucher. The person who bought the voucher will also get an email to confirm the purchase and an invoice for their records.
