What is a dedicated SMS number?
A dedicated SMS number is your own unique phone number for SMS, specific to your business. All messages you send to existing clients - reminders, confirmations, marketing messages - will come from the same number, every time.
This means your clients can:
- Save the number in their contacts
- Recognise and trust your messages
- Reply directly to you, instead of a shared or rotating number
Who is eligible:
- All new and existing customers on the Innovate plan
- Located in the US, Australia, and Canada
Why is having a dedicated SMS number valuable for your business?
Timely note: Dedicated SMS numbers are designed specifically for communicating with your existing clients. You won’t see or know the actual phone number assigned, and it should not be published on your website or marketing channels. If someone who isn’t already an existing client sends a message to that number, the SMS will not be delivered.
